El pasado 15 de abril Kim Fowley, Duglas Stewart y Jim Burns nos acompañaron en la presentación de FIB Cinema 2012. Estas dos grandes figuras esenciales en la escena musical independiente propiciaron el escenario perfecto para presentar al público la nueva edición del festival.
Last 15th of April Kim Fowley, Duglas Stewart and Jim Burns were with us in the presentation of FIB Cinema 2012. These two important figures of the independent music scene create a perfect atmosphere to show the public the new edition of the festival.

Bárbara Lennie, Roberto Barrueco y Jordi
Costa. Un jurado excepcional encargado de dar el primer y
segundo premio de 6000€ y 3000€ respectivamente. El público elegirá el
cortometraje que gane el tercer premio, de 1500€.

Jordi Costa. An exceptional jury will award the first and
second prize, €6,000 and €3,000 respectively. The audience will choose
the winner short film for the third prize of €1,500.

¿Cómo percibirá un cineasta vietnamita sordo el
FIB, Benicàssim? Pablo Roa, artista invitado de este año, parte
de este planteamiento para realizar el documental ilustrado del festival. Esta
novela gráfica será la obra seleccionada para FIB Residence
03.
How would a deaf Vietnamese filmmaker percieve
the FIB, Benicàssim? Pablo Roa, guest artist of this year, uses
this approach to make the festival illustrated documentary. This graphic novel
is the work selected for FIB Residence 03.

¡Todos somos Residence! La propuesta artística de
este año para convertir el Teatro de Benicàssim en la casa de verano de todos
los fibers se llama D-machine.
El proyecto consiste en un fotomatón instalado en
el pueblo que envía las imagenes por wifi a una sofisticada impresora. Esta se
encargará de habitar el suelo del teatro con las caras de todos los residentes
para así dejar su impronta en el lugar donde han estado.
We are all Residence! The
artistic proposal to turn the Theater of Benicàssim into the summer residence of
every fiber is called "D-machine".
The project consists in a photo booth set up in
the village wich sends pictues via wifi to a sophiticated print machine. This
machine will occupy the theater's floor with all the residents faces so they
will leave their stamp in the place where they have been.
